Gerda Egger, Deputy and Head of Molecular Pathology, attended the first conference of the Arab Genetic Research Association. It was organised by Princess Al Jawhara Al Ibrahim Center at the Arabian Gulf University under the title "Human Genetics, Epigenetics, and Personalised Genomics". The conference discussed the latest and most important topics related to genetics, epigenetics, and personalised genomics.
With regional and international key note speakers state-of-the-art sessions were provided. To explore the innovations and recent advances in Genomic and Personalized Medicine, Genomic Variation Patterns among Arabs, and Regional Experience in Newborn Screening additional seminars were organised.
