The European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) meets annualy in an European city to discuss the newest trends and findings in the field of nuclear medicine. The EANM congress provides great possibilities to network and socialise while learning about the scientific progress in different countries and research institutes.
This year’s EANM took place during the 21st to 25th of October 2017 at the Austria Center Vienna. Beside the impressive talks, sessions and novel e-poster walks, also interesting and translational discussions contributed majorly to the great congress.
Prof. Thomas L. Mindt, Head of Imaging Biomarkers, had the honour together with Dr. Maina-Nock to preside the chair over the Molecular to Man Track (M2M) which focused on Peptides. The M2M track which was dedicated to Prostate Cancer Targeting was chaired by Dr. Jens Cardinale, senior scientist of programme line Imaging Biomarkers, together with Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Kambiz Rahbar.
During the industrial exhibitions, we were especially pleased to meet many representatives of our partner organisations including GE Healthcare, Hermes Medical Solutions, ROTOP Pharmaka GmbH and IASON GmbH.
